Temporary Caretakers - Bradford Schools
Are you an experienced school caretaker looking for flexible work? Veritas Education is seeking temporary caretakers to cover roles at short notice across primary and secondary schools in the Bradford area.
Role Details:
- Position: Temporary School Caretaker
- Location: Bradford and surrounding areas
- Pay: Approx. £12.70 per hour
- Hours: Flexible - must be available for varied shifts and short-notice cover
- Contract: Ongoing temporary assignments
What you'll do:
- Ensure the school premises are safe, secure, and well-maintained
- Carry out general maintenance and repairs
- Support with site security and opening/closing procedures
- Respond to urgent issues promptly
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience as a caretaker in a school setting (essential)
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to different school environments
- Reliability and readiness to accept short-notice assignments
- Strong practical skills and a proactive approach
