Veritas Education is currently supporting a secondary school in Blackburn that is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their team from January. This is a long-term maternity cover with the potential to run for the remainder of the academic year.
About the role: The successful candidate will teach KS3 and KS4 Science within a well-resourced and supportive department. You'll be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, planning and marking, and contributing to the wider school community.
The school is looking for someone who:Is a qualified Science Teacher (ECTs and experienced teachers welcome)Can deliver Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics to GCSE levelHas strong behaviour management and classroom presenceIs committed, organised, and able to work as part of a supportive teamIs available from January for a long-term placement
