Waking Night Support Worker (Young People)Location: Preston/BlackburnContract: Permanent | Full-timeHours: 40 hours per week (22:00 - 08:00), on a 3-week rolling rotaSalary: £13.68 per hour

The Role:As a Waking Night Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our young people throughout the night. You will:

  • Provide emotional and practical support during night-time hours

  • Promote independence by assisting with education, household tasks, and life skills

  • Support young people with daily routines and personal care needs

  • Contribute to a safe, positive, and nurturing environment

  • What We're Looking For:

  • Previous care experience (essential)

  • Experience supporting SEN needs (e.g., autism, challenging behaviour, personal care, life skills)

  • Strong behaviour management skills

  • Excellent communication and listening skills

  • A positive, enthusiastic, and professional approach

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing needs

  • A current DBS check (Child & Adult Workforce)
