Veritas Education is recruiting a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join a specialist independent school in West London, supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). The school offers a nurturing, outcome-driven environment focused on personalised education and holistic development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCPs
- Foster communication, independence, and life skills through a broad and balanced curriculum
- Collaborate with therapists and support staff to meet pupils' academic and emotional needs
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and structured learning environment
- Track progress and contribute to the development of personalised learning plans
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with children with autism and complex learning needs
- Strong understanding of SEND frameworks and safeguarding practices
- Creative, resilient, and adaptable teaching style
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
