Deputy Home Manager - Residential Service Location: Preston / Blackburn / Bolton | Permanent, 40 hrs/week Salary: £33,540 (£15.90-£16.20/hr) | Full UK Driving Licence required No sponsorship available.
Role
We're looking for a Deputy Home Manager to help launch a new residential service supporting people with Autism, Learning Disabilities, and complex needs. Lead a team, ensure person-centred care, and develop support plans that promote independence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop staff through training, supervision, and induction
Ensure CQC compliance and quality care
Promote independence and safeguard adults
Implement Mental Capacity Act (2005) & DoLS (2008)
Build relationships with referrers and stakeholders
Oversee staff performance and policy compliance
Participate in on-call leadership rota
About You
Essential:
Residential service management experience
CQC knowledge and inspection experience
Level 5 Leadership & Management (or working towards)
Team leadership and workload management
Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
Autism and complex needs experience
Safeguarding knowledge and investigative skills
