Registered Manager - Children's Home

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead one of our autism-specialist children's homes (up to 6 young people, aged 8-19). Part of a wider campus with an on-site school, our homes provide 38- and 52-week care in a safe, structured, and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Hold Ofsted registration and ensure compliance with Children's Homes Regulations (2015).
Lead and develop a team of deputies, leaders, and support workers.
Oversee care plans, EHCPs, risk assessments, and admissions.
Support young people with Autism and communication needs using visual aids and assistive technologies.
Manage training, supervisions, safeguarding, rotas, and performance.
Ensure audits, inspections, and compliance with Regulation 44/45.
Maintain a safe, welcoming home and manage budgets effectively.
About You
2+ years in a senior role within a children's residential setting.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
Strong knowledge of Ofsted, safeguarding, and Children's Homes Regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Desirable: Experience with Autism, EHCP processes, and multi-agency collaboration.
