We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant, If you have a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and want to make a real difference in their educational journey, we'd love to hear from you.
SEN Teaching Assistant Role:* Support pupils with a range of special educational needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, SEMH).* Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored interventions.* Encourage positive behaviour and promote independence.* Help create an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment.
SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements:* Has experience working with children with SEN (in a school or care setting).* Is patient, empathetic, and resilient.* Can build strong relationships with children, staff, and families.* Holds relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, or equivalent) - desirable but not essential.* Has a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.* Enhances DBS.If you're interested in this SEN Teaching Assistant role, please contact Alexandra Mayhew-Lewis at Veritas Education
