Teacher of Design & Technology
Location: Lewisham Start Date: January 2026 Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: Main Pay Scale (MPS)

About the Role
Plan and deliver high-quality Design & Technology lessons at KS3 and KS4
Contribute to curriculum development and create engaging learning resources
Set regular homework, mark student work, and provide constructive feedback
Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress
Work closely with the SEN team to support students with additional needs
Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement in line with school policy
Take on the role of Form Tutor, supporting students' pastoral development
Contribute to departmental and whole-school initiatives
What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant subject knowledge
Ability to deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that motivate learners
Strong classroom management and a positive, proactive approach
Commitment to teamwork, professional development, and school improvement
Excellent communication and organisational skills
