Are you a reliable, hands-on individual with a passion for keeping schools safe, clean, and running smoothly?
Veritas Education is currently recruiting dedicated School Caretakers to work across a range of primary and secondary schools on a temporary basis. These roles may be short-term (daily or weekly cover) or long-term placements, with the possibility of working across different school sites as needed.
???? Key Responsibilities:
Opening and closing school premises
General maintenance and minor repairs
Ensuring cleanliness and tidiness of school grounds
Health & safety checks and compliance
Supporting with deliveries and school site security
Liaising with school staff and contractors
Working Hours:
Split shift pattern (typically early morning and late afternoon/evening)
Flexibility is essential to support school needs
Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience in a caretaker or facilities role (preferred)
Able to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong understanding of site safety and cleanliness standards
DBS on the Update Service or willing to apply for one
Full UK driving licence (advantageous but not essential)
