Year 3 Class Teacher - Maternity Cover Location: Burnley, Lancashire Contract Type: Maternity Cover, Full-Time Start Date: March 2026 Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)
Veritas Education are proud to be working exclusively with a warm and supportive Primary School in the Burnley area. The school is seeking an experienced and dedicated Year 3 Class Teacher to cover a period of maternity leave from March 2026.
This role is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and requires a teacher with proven classroom experience in Key Stage 2 who can quickly build relationships and maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
The Role
Full-time teaching responsibility for a Year 3 class.
Delivering engaging and creative lessons that inspire and motivate pupils.
Ensuring continuity of learning and pupil progress during the maternity cover period.
Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and carers to support children's development.

About You
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Experienced in teaching within Key Stage 2.
