Behaviour Support Officer (Bradford)
Veritas Education are working in partnership with a school in the Bradford area who are seeking a Behaviour Support Officer to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis, starting immediately.
The role will involve working closely with students who may display challenging behaviour, supporting them to remain engaged in their learning and promoting positive choices. We are looking for someone with resilience, strong communication skills, and the ability to de-escalate situations calmly and effectively.
Key Skills & Qualities Needed:
Strong behaviour management and de-escalation strategies
Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
Resilience and patience when working with challenging behaviour
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to act as a positive role model
Experience working in a PRU or with students with SEMH needs (desirable)

Position: Behaviour Support Officer

Contract: Full-time, long-term
Pay: Paid to scale
DBS: Must be on the update service
