  • Veritas Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Lewisham, South East London, to recruit a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teacher to join their Early Years team, working with children aged 2-4 years.

    This OFSTED-rated 'Good' school is known for its nurturing ethos and commitment to providing a supportive environment where every child is valued and encouraged to thrive. You will be teaching in a well-resourced Early Years setting, delivering engaging and purposeful learning to groups of 20-30 children in collaboration with a supportive team.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is committed to delivering high-quality Early Years education in a setting that promotes curiosity, independence, and a love of learning.

    The Ideal Early Years Teacher Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS)

  • Strong knowledge and experience of the EYFS framework

  • A creative and engaging teaching style that meets the needs of all learners

  • Excellent phonics teaching skills

  • A nurturing, flexible, and reflective attitude

  • Strong classroom management and a passion for Early Years education

  • Main Early Years Teacher Responsibilities Include:

  • Teaching all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum

  • Planning, preparing, and evaluating lessons that promote active learning

  • Creating a safe, happy, and inclusive classroom where children feel confident and supported

  • Encouraging communication, exploration, and early independence

  • Working collaboratively with Early Years staff to ensure progress and development

  • Providing pastoral care and building strong relationships with children and families

  • Running after-school clubs and contributing to the wider school community
