Are you a confident, reliable, and adaptable individual looking to gain classroom experience in secondary schools? We are currently seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work on a daily supply basis across a range of vibrant and diverse schools in the Lambeth area.
About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you'll step into classrooms across various schools, delivering pre-prepared lessons and maintaining classroom behaviour in the absence of the regular teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced cover supervisors looking to work flexibly and build classroom experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise lessons across a variety of subjects and year groups
Ensure a positive and focused classroom environment
Manage student behaviour in line with school policies
Follow lesson plans provided by the class teacher
Provide feedback to teaching staff where necessary
Requirements:
Experience working with young people (e.g. youth work, tutoring, teaching assistant, coaching)
Strong classroom management skills
Adaptability and a professional attitude
A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one
Availability at short notice is advantageous
