We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Office Manager & Admissions Coordinator to join our school community. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in an educational setting and is passionate about streamlining operations and leading digital transformation.
Role Overview: The Office Manager & Admissions Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our school office, as well as overseeing and processing all student admissions. This position is perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail and who has the potential to drive the school's transition to a fully digital admissions process.
Key Responsibilities:
Office Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the school office, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment for students, parents, and staff.
Admissions Processing: Manage and process all student admissions, from initial inquiry through to enrollment, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Digital Transformation: Lead and manage the shift to a fully digital admissions system, using technology to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall experience for families.
Attention to Detail: Carefully review and manage all terms, conditions, and documentation associated with student admissions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Headteacher, senior staff, and other departments to ensure smooth coordination across school operations.
What We're Looking For:
Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other software tools. Experience with school management software is a plus.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and change management, with the ability to lead digital projects.
Exceptional attention to detail, especially when dealing with student records, contracts, and terms and conditions.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with students, parents, staff, and external partners in a professional and friendly manner.
Experience in school office management, admissions, or educational environments is highly desirable.
Previous experience as a teacher, or a retired teacher looking for a new challenge, is an advantage.
