Pastoral Manager / Pastoral Lead - Full Time - Bradford - September Start
Veritas Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit a Pastoral Manager / Pastoral Lead for a full-time, long-term role starting in September.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced pastoral professional to take a leading role in supporting student welfare, behaviour, and engagement. The ideal candidate will be passionate about student development, able to build strong relationships, and confident working with young people facing a range of social, emotional, and behavioural challenges.
Role Overview:
Full-time, long-term position starting September
Oversee pastoral provision and student welfare across a year group or key stage
Lead on behaviour management strategies and attendance monitoring
Liaise with SLT, teachers, parents, and external agencies
Safeguarding responsibilities and supporting SEMH needs
What we're looking for:
Previous experience in a pastoral, behaviour, or inclusion role within a school setting
Strong communication and leadership skills
Up-to-date DBS on the Update Service (essential)
Ability to remain calm, resilient, and supportive in a busy school environment
