Are you an experienced school administrator looking for your next opportunity in a dynamic and supportive secondary school environment?
We are seeking a highly organised, efficient, and proactive School Administrator to join our friendly administrative team at a well-established secondary school in Lewisham. This is a vital role at the heart of our school community, supporting staff, students, and parents with a wide range of administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Front office reception duties and first point of contact for visitors, parents, and pupils
Managing school emails, telephone calls, and correspondence
Attendance monitoring and data input
Supporting with admissions, pupil records, and reporting
Liaising with staff and external agencies as required
General clerical support including photocopying, filing, and document preparation
Assisting the Senior Leadership Team with admin tasks
Essential Requirements:
Previous experience working in a school administrative role (this is a must)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office and school MIS systems (e.g., SIMS, Arbor, or similar)
Ability to manage time effectively, multitask, and work under pressure
A positive, professional, and flexible attitude
Desirable:
Familiarity with safeguarding and data protection protocols in an education setting
First Aid qualification or willingness to train
