Veritas Education is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Early Careers Teacher (ECT) for a secondary school in Leeds. This opportunity is ideal for newly qualified teachers ready to begin their teaching journey in a supportive and welcoming environment.
The school is looking for an ECT to teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with flexibility to match your subject specialism. The position is available on both a full-time and part-time basis, starting in September 2025.
You will be joining a dedicated and experienced team committed to professional development and helping early career teachers succeed. The school offers a strong induction programme and ongoing support throughout your placement.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or due to qualify this summer
A strong understanding of the secondary curriculum (KS3 and KS4)
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
A passion for teaching and a commitment to student progress
