Job Title: Behaviour Mentor
Location: Hillingdon
Contract Type: Full-Time (Term-time only)
Salary: £21,000 - £25,000 per annum (D.O.E)
Are you passionate about making a real difference in young lives? Do you have the patience, resilience, and dedication to support students with social, emotional, or behavioural needs?
The role:
- Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with behavioural or emotional needs
- Implement strategies to de-escalate challenging situations
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Work closely with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals
- Support pupils in developing social skills and emotional regulation
Job Requirements:
- Experience working with young people, ideally in an educational or care setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A calm, patient, and resilient approach
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
- A background in sport, youth work, or SEN support (desirable)
