Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Harrow
Contract Type: Full-Time (Term-time only)
Salary: £100 - £120 per day (D.O.E)
Veritas Education are currently working with a variety of different Special Needs/SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) Schools in Harrow & Brent. We currently have multiple SEN Teaching Assistant roles available!
Requirements
- Worked in a mainstream or special needs school supporting children and young adults displaying challenging behaviour.
- Supported vulnerable children in a care or foster setting.
- Previous experience of sports coaching a wide range of children in various age groups from a variety of backgrounds and abilities.
The ideal candidate would be….
- Someone who is reliable, trustworthy, and committed to the role
- Has a good understanding of supporting children and young people from various backgrounds and needs
- Has previous experience working with children experiencing challenging or at-risk behaviour
- Is confident managing behaviour and supporting within a school environment
Each candidate will be subject to a DBS and police check where required. A successful candidate will also provide at least two references from their previous employer/s.
