Veritas Education are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Dewsbury from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to deliver engaging, high-quality Geography lessons to students aged 11-16, and to play a key role in a supportive and dynamic Humanities department.
About the Role:
- Deliver creative and effective Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Plan, prepare, and assess pupils' work to ensure excellent progress
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices
- Inspire students through real-world geography, sustainability, and global awareness
- Maintain high standards of classroom management and student engagement
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in Geography and a passion for teaching
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- Newly Qualified Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
