Room Leader - Full-Time, Permanent Location: Central Leeds, Private Day Nursery
Are you an experienced and passionate childcare professional looking to take the next step in your career? Our clients well-established and reputable private day nursery in Central Leeds is seeking a Room Leader to join our friendly and supportive team on a full-time, permanent basis.
About the Role: As a Room Leader, you will take responsibility for leading and managing a team of Early Years Practitioners, ensuring the highest standards of care and education for the children in your room. You will lead by example, providing support and guidance to your team while ensuring that all children receive a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment in which they can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and inspire a team of practitioners to deliver outstanding early years education and care.
Plan and implement engaging activities to promote learning and development, in line with the EYFS framework.
Monitor and assess children's progress and ensure that their individual needs are met.
Build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff, fostering a positive and inclusive nursery environment.
Maintain high standards of health, safety, and cleanliness.
Provide support for the nursery manager, ensuring the smooth running of the room.

Requirements:
A Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) is essential. A higher-level qualification would be an advantage.
Proven experience working in early years settings, ideally in a leadership or supervisory role.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and support your team.
A genuine passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
