SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary School - Luton Location: Luton, Bedfordshire Start Date: September 2025 Pay: £115-120 per day (paid through umbrella company) Contract: Full-time, Term-time only
A welcoming school in Luton is seeking a dedicated & experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.
Role Overview:
Supporting pupils with special educational needs, including SEMH
Working 1:1 and in small groups to meet specific learning and emotional needs
Assisting the class teacher and SENCo in delivering tailored support strategies
Requirements:
Previous experience supporting children with SEN and/or SEMH is essential
Strong communication, patience, and resilience
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a wider support team
