Veritas Education is looking for an experienced Cover Supervisor to join one of our partner secondary schools in Leeds this September.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone confident in managing classrooms and passionate about supporting students' learning across Key Stages 3 and 4. You'll step into classrooms during teacher absence and ensure lessons run smoothly using pre-prepared resources.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver pre-set work and manage classroom behaviour.
Engage and support students across a range of subjects.
Maintain a positive learning environment.
Report back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar school-based role.
Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
Adaptability and a professional attitude.
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply through us).
