Job Title: Nursery Practitioner - Level 2 Minimum Location: Burnley, Lancashire County Council Nursery Contract Type: Part-Time Working Hours: 12:30 PM - 3:45 PM, Monday to Friday Start Date: September 2025
About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and caring Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join our team at a Lancashire County Council nursery based in Burnley. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the learning and development of young children in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care and early education for children aged 0-5
Support the planning and delivery of engaging activities aligned with the EYFS framework
Assist in creating a safe, stimulating, and supportive learning environment
Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support each child's development
Support children with additional needs, including those with SEN (experience desirable)
Requirements:
Level 2 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (essential)
Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
SEN experience (desirable)
A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one
