    This is a full-time, long-term Reception Teacher opportunity, open to ECTs and experienced Teachers. Reception Teacher required to start immediately.

    This 'Good' Graded Primary School in Barking is looking for exceptional Reception Teachers to join in September 2024 and hit the ground running. You must have excellent behaviour management and the drive to help make a difference in a community led Primary School. This is a well-funded, unique primary school in an ideal location.

    Situated in a leafy suburb of London, this school boasts an exceptional location with transport links across the city. Students here have access to state-of-the-art resources, including laptops and varied curriculum, delivered by some of the borough's best practitioners.

    Reception Teacher will need to be:

  • An excellent Reception Teacher with a proven record of raising achievement.
  • Resourceful, innovative and able to embrace change.
  • Have exceptional behaviour management with the ability to inspire your students.
  • Have the knowledge and expertise to enthuse your colleagues.
  • You must have QTS and an excellent academic background.
  • A teacher who is committed to personal and professional development.
  • Fully committed to the safeguarding and wellbeing of all pupils.

  • Reception Teacher Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Carry out teaching duties in accordance with the school's schemes of work, National Curriculum and designated subject areas.
  • Liaise with colleagues to deliver units of work in a collaborative way in accordance with the School Development Plan.
  • Work with teaching assistants, the SENCO and the inclusion team.
  • Set challenging targets for pupil attainment levels.
  • Be an exemplar teacher.
  • Share in the responsibility for the well-being and discipline of all pupils.
