This role is particularly suited to graduates considering a future in teaching, with the opportunity to train to teach in your second year at the school.
What We're Looking For:
A 2:1 degree or higher in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, or a closely related subject
Strong A-Level results in your chosen science and ideally in Mathematics or Further Maths
A passion for education and an interest in working with young people
Excellent subject knowledge, particularly of the A-Level curriculum
The ability to build rapport, empathise, and support students effectively
Previous experience working with children or young people is welcome but not essential
An Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
What's on Offer:
A permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package
The chance to work with academically able and motivated sixth formers
A structured training programme and strong support from senior staff
A welcoming and high-achieving school environment
Opportunities for professional development, including teacher training pathways
Ongoing support from the application process to your first day and beyond
