We are currently seeking an experienced SEN Learning Support Assistants for SEN and secondary schools in Kent. Positions are full-time, term time only, and to start as soon as possible. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students with special educational needs.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be working with students with a range of special educational needs and learning difficulties, providing tailored support to help them achieve their potential in both academic and personal development. The ideal candidate will have a compassionate and proactive approach, with experience supporting students with SEN in an educational setting.

- PMLD
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting SEN students on a 1:1 basis
- working proactively to help students achieve their attainment levels
- encourage students to engage proactively with their learning
- helping to provide a safe environment for children to learn.
- assisting the teacher with students general learning and development.
The ideal candidate:
- A strong understanding of special educational needs
- A strong communicator, able to build a rapport with young people
- Patient and empathetic
- Reliable and committed to the school and students' improvement
- Enthusiastic and engaging
- Able to work alongside the teacher and independently
- Certifications and attendance to training courses for SEN are beneficial, as well as first hand experience with SEN.
