About the Role
As an Early Years Educator, you will play an essential role in the care, education, and development of children aged birth to five years. You will create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment that encourages children to explore, engage, and develop their key skills through both indoor and outdoor play. You will be part of a dedicated team, where nature-based learning is at the heart of everything we do.
Role Overview:
As an Early Years Educator, you will be a vital member of the team, ensuring that children receive a holistic, play-based education that follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Your role will involve delivering a range of engaging activities that promote personal, social, emotional, and cognitive development through hands-on experiences and outdoor learning opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that support children's learning across all areas of development in line with the EYFS framework.
Foster an inclusive, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth, with a focus on their well-being.
Observe, assess, and document children's progress, using observations to identify areas for further development and plan for the next steps in their learning journey.
Build strong, positive relationships with parents and caregivers, regularly providing updates on children's progress and supporting their learning at home.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in line with safeguarding policies, maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Collaborate with colleagues, including other professionals, to ensure the delivery of high-quality early years education and care.
Promote independence, confidence, and curiosity in children through play-based learning, enabling them to explore their environment and develop essential skills.
Maintain accurate records and reports in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
What's required?

✔️ Passion for early years education, with a focus on nature-based learning and outdoor education. ✔️ Experience in early years education, ideally with a Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Childcare, Early Years Education, or a related field. ✔️ A proactive and positive attitude, with excellent teamwork skills. ✔️ Strong communication and relationship-building abilities, with a focus on working in partnership with families and colleagues. ✔️ A commitment to promoting children's well-being and holistic development, supporting their emotional, social, and cognitive growth.
