The Role: We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Drama Teacher to join our creative and vibrant Performing Arts department from September 2025. As a Drama Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and guide students in their exploration of theatre, performance, and dramatic techniques. You will teach a range of abilities, from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5, and will play a key role in developing students' creative talents both inside and outside the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging, and challenging Drama lessons to students of varying abilities.
  • Foster a passion for theatre and the arts, encouraging students to participate in extracurricular performances and activities.
  • Plan and implement an inspiring curriculum that supports student growth and achievement in Drama.
  • Assess, monitor, and track students' progress and provide feedback to support their development.
  • Contribute to the school's wider cultural and creative community, including organising school productions and drama events.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues in the Performing Arts team and the wider school community.
  • About You:

  • A qualified Drama Teacher with a passion for the performing arts and student development.
  • Experience teaching Drama at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS5 experience is desirable but not essential).
  • A creative, enthusiastic, and energetic approach to teaching and learning.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • A commitment to creating an inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
  • A willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular activities.
