Veritas Education Leeds is looking for a motivated, skilled, and enthusiastic Science Technician to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of one of our partner schools state-of-the-art science departments, supporting teachers and students in delivering high-quality science education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and setup of practical science lessons.
- Maintain and organize laboratory equipment and materials.
- Ensure safety standards are adhered to within the science department.
- Support the teaching staff in delivering hands-on practical experiments.
- Manage inventory and order supplies when needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment in the laboratories.
About You:
- A passion for science and education.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in a similar role or a relevant qualification in science is desirable, but not essential.
- A strong team player with the ability to work independently.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to think on your feet.
