Veritas Education is proud to partner with a well-established primary school in Lewisham, who are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and experienced KS1 Teacher to join their team. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons to Key Stage 1 pupils in line with the national curriculum.
- Use effective teaching strategies to promote a love of learning and ensure excellent academic progress.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to pupils and parents as needed.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and support staff to create a dynamic and supportive learning environment.
- Promote the school's values and ethos, encouraging positive behaviour and a respectful atmosphere in the classroom.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Years 1 & 2).
- A strong understanding of the national curriculum for KS1.
- Excellent classroom management skills and a creative, engaging approach to teaching.
- A passion for working with children and making a real difference in their educational journey.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leaders.
