About the Role
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in the care, development, and education of young children, typically from birth to five years old. You will create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can thrive, explore, and develop key skills.
Role Overview:
As an Early Years Educator at you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for delivering high-quality, nature-based learning experiences. We believe that outdoor adventures are at the heart of childhood development, and we are committed to fostering a fun, supportive, and enriching environment for both children and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement engaging activities that support children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Foster a warm, supportive, and inclusive environment that encourages social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Observe, assess, and document children's progress, identifying areas for development.
- Work closely with parents and caregivers, providing updates on children's progress and supporting their learning journey.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to maintain high-quality early years education and care.
- Support children's independence, confidence, and curiosity through play-based learning experiences.
- Maintain accurate records and reports in line with regulatory and organizational requirements.
