We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated PE Teacher to help fill a number of position that have become available in Sheffield. If you're enthusiastic about motivating students and promoting physical health, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging PE lessons for students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Encourage participation in a variety of sports and physical activities, creating a healthy, active lifestyle.
- Organise and manage extra-curricular sports clubs and teams to promote fitness and well-being outside of the classroom.
- Support the development of students' physical skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students during all physical activities, adhering to safeguarding procedures.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating environment that encourages all students to reach their full potential.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong background in Physical Education with experience teaching at the secondary level.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A commitment to promoting physical health and well-being.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
