Position: Nursery Practitioner
Contract Type: Part-Time Position Available
Location: Nelson

We are looking for dedicated, compassionate, and motivated Nursery Practitioner to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a nurturing environment where every day brings new challenges and rewards as you help children with special educational needs thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and education to children
- Assist in planning and delivering tailored learning activities that cater to individual needs.
- Support children's development and learning through observation and play-based activities.
- Work closely with other practitioners, parents, and external agencies to ensure each child's needs are met.
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.
- Support children with daily routines, helping them to achieve independence where possible.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification (or equivalent) - essential.
- Experience working with children with special educational needs (desirable).
- A genuine passion for working with children and helping them to reach their full potential.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to supporting children.
- A proactive attitude, with the ability to adapt to the needs of each child.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake).
