Geography Teacher - Full Time, Long-Term Role
Location: Bradford Start Date: Immediate or after Easter Contract Type: Full Time, Long-Term (Until the end of the academic year with potential for a permanent contract)
Veritas Education is excited to be working with a highly respected partner school to recruit a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher. This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled teacher to join a supportive school environment and make a real impact on students' learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and dynamic Geography lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Prepare, mark, and provide constructive feedback on student work.
- Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and contribute to a positive school culture.
- Support students' personal, academic, and social development.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge in Geography with a passion for teaching and inspiring students.
- Previous experience in teaching Geography at secondary school level is preferred.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of professionals.
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to teaching and student development.
