We are currently seeking an experienced Geography teacher to work at secondary school based in the borough of Haringey. This will be a full time, temporary position to start in April until the end of May 2025.
Responsibilities for Geography Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the geography curriculum
- Assess and track student progress, providing feedback to support development and achievement
- Inspire a passion for geography by using real-world case studies, fieldwork, and interactive resources
- Differentiate lessons to cater to a diverse range of learning needs and abilities
- Prepare students for examinations, ensuring they reach their full potential
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and engagement, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
To be considered for our teaching positions you will:
- Ideally hold QTS/applicable teaching qualifications
- Have strong teaching experience in a UK secondary school
- Have high expectations for learning and behaviour and strong behaviour management techniques
- Be able to motivate and inspire students helping them to work towards the highest standards
- being committed to safeguarding and welfare of the students
- Be able to work collaborately as part of a team
Experienced unqualified geography teachers are welcome!
