Veritas Education work with a variety of primary, secondary, and SEN schools across London and the surrounding areas, providing high-quality teachers and support staff for long-term, short-term, permanent, and daily supply roles. We partner with state, private, and independent schools, building strong, trusted relationships with our clients.
We are currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work with students with SEN and learning difficulties in SEN and SEMH schools across South London, Kent, and Surrey. Roles are term time, full time, Monday-Friday working from 8.30am-4pm. You will have experience working with students with SEN or you will have strong knowledge of SEN and learning difficulties through personal experience and/or academic studies.

- Cerebral palsy
- SEMH
- BSL
- Dyslexia
- EAL
- MLD
- PMLD
As a Learning Support Assistant you will:
- Support SEN pupils often on a one to one basis
- Encourage students to engage proactively with their learning and depending on their individual needs you will be helping them with their social and emotional skills
- Be responsible in helping to provide a safe environment for the pupils
- Assist the teacher with their general learning and development and working with the teacher to monitor their progress
- Work collaboratively and proactively as part of a team
In order to be considered for this role you will need to have a DBS on the update service - if you do not have one you will need to apply for one which you can do so through Veritas.
