We are currently currently recruiting for English Graduate teaching assistants for a roles in secondary schools in West and North West London to begin asap. The role will be full time and long term, Monday-Friday 8.30am-4pm, term time only.
As an English Graduate Teaching assistant you will:
- Be dedicated to helping students achieve their attainment levels
- Encourage students to engage proactively with their learning
- Be responsible in helping to provide a safe environment for students to learn.
- Assist the teacher in the students their learning and development as well as with behaviour management, consistently promoting positive behaviour.
To be considered for this role you must hold a degree in English or a related subject. Your role will require you assist students with their English subjects as well as other subjects.
Ideally you will already have some experience of working with young people, or you may be considering furthering your career in education as a teacher (desirable but not essential). Maybe you are taking a year out before doing your Masters or a PGCE?
