Science Teacher Wanted
PAY: £150+ Per Day - DOE
Location: Enfield, North London
Position: Full Time/ Term Time
Are you passionate about shaping young minds? A diverse and welcoming Secondary school in Enfield, north London is looking for a science teacher to teach KS3 and KS4. This is a full time position with an ASAP start, and applicants must have QTS (Qualfiied Teacher Status).
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons, catering to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters independent thinking, creativity, and active participation.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methodologies, resources, and technologies to enhance student learning and achievement.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and implement effective strategies for improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the humanities curriculum and share best practices.
- Support and guide students in their personal and academic development, providing pastoral care where necessary.
- Engage with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to promote positive partnerships and regular communication.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential - applicants without QTS will not be considered for this role
- Demonstrated knowledge and passion for the sciences, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with students, colleagues, and parents effectively.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities to effectively plan and deliver engaging lessons.
- Good behaviour management skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to contribute to the school's ethos and vision.
- Subject to Enhanced DBS online updated and 2 references
