Veritas Education is proud to collaborate with a reputable partner school in the Bradford area to find a dedicated and qualified Design Technology (Food) Teacher. This exciting opportunity is perfect for a dynamic professional eager to inspire and educate the next generation of students in the field of food technology.
About the Role
As a DT (Food) Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in food technology to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Inspire a passion for cooking, nutrition, and food science, fostering creativity and skill development.
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum and school policies.
- Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment, ensuring all students can thrive.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the Design Technology department.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- A specialism in food technology with proven experience teaching this subject at secondary level.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students.
- A passion for education and a commitment to making a difference in young people's lives.
- Enhanced DBS clearance on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
