Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher with experience in Key Stage 2? We are looking for a Year 4 Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive school team in Accrington for the summer term of 2025.
The Role: As a Year 4 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum. You will support and challenge pupils to reach their full potential, ensuring their academic and personal development. This role will be for the summer term, starting in April 2025 and running until the end of the academic year in July 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils.
- Provide a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure the best outcomes for all pupils.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and a positive classroom culture.
- Support the pastoral care and well-being of the children in your class.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably in Year 4.
- A passionate, dedicated, and innovative approach to teaching.
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with children, staff, and parents.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
