Are you a passionate and dedicated Year 1 teacher seeking a new opportunity in a welcoming school community?
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join a supportive and friendly school in Accrington, starting ASAP/January 2025 at the latest. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented educator to make a real impact in the lives of young learners and to be part of a collaborative team of teachers and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality, engaging lessons in Year 1 in line with the National Curriculum.
- Planning and assessing pupils' progress to ensure continued development and achievement.
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Working closely with teaching assistants and other staff to provide individual support for students.
- Engaging with parents and carers to provide updates on progress and development.
- Contributing to the school's wider activities and ethos, promoting a strong sense of community.
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Passion for teaching and a strong understanding of the Year 1 curriculum.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students, with a focus on their individual needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong commitment to ensuring the highest standards of education and well-being for all students.
