  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am - 3:45pm
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Location: Isleworth, Middlesex
  • Are you passionate about supporting children and making a positive impact in their early learning journey? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and welcoming Reception class in Isleworth. In this full-time role, you'll work closely with a supportive team, including a qualified teacher and Early Years Practitioner, to help every child thrive.

What You'll Be Doing: As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in assisting children with special educational needs (SEN) within a mainstream Reception class. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting children with a range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and other SEN.
  • Implementing effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Collaborating with the teacher and Early Years Practitioner to meet children's individual needs.
  • Encouraging the development of positive behaviours and social skills.
  • Engaging children in learning activities and supporting their academic and social progress.
  • What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in SEN Support: Previous experience working with children with SEN and managing challenging behaviours.
  • Behaviour Management Skills: Confident in using behaviour management strategies with patience and empathy.
  • Experience with ASD/ADHD: Knowledge and experience of working with children diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, or similar conditions.
  • Personable & Compassionate: You're caring, approachable, and genuinely passionate about working with young children.
  • Team Player: You thrive in a collaborative environment and are flexible, reliable, and proactive.
  • Why Join Us?

This is a truly rewarding role where you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young children. You'll be part of a close-knit, caring team within a school that values each staff member's contribution to student success.

If you have a strong background in SEN support, a proactive approach to behaviour management, and a genuine desire to help children grow both academically and socially, we'd love to hear from you!

To Apply: Please submit your CV.
