We are currently seeking an experienced Spanish Language Teaching Assistant to join a school in Watford. The role will be full time, Monday-Friday, 8.30am-4pm, term time only, and will be to begin as soon as possible.
As a Spanish Language Teaching Assistant you will:
- Be dedicated to helping children achieve their attainment levels.
- Aid in the development of students' language skills, including vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation.
- Encourage students to engage proactively with their learning.
- Be responsible in helping to provide a safe environment for children to learn.
- Provide support to the teacher in areas such as classroom management, behaviour management, and lesson delivery, consistently promoting positive behaviour.
- Demonstrate strong presentation and articulation skills to effectively support language learning.
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Have experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting.
- Be fluent in Spanish
- Have experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (desirable)
- Hold a university degree, ideally in modern foreign languages
- Be proactive, dedicated, and passionate about supporting students' development.
