Employment Type: FULL TIME, ONE TERM CONTRACT, SPRING TERM
Start Date: JANUARY 2025
End Date: TBC, EASTER 2025 (may continue for two terms)
Salary: PAID TO LCC TEACHER PAY SCALE
Job Description:
A primary school in Lancaster, working exclusively with Veritas Education is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 3/4 Teacher to join their teaching team for the spring term. This is a part time position, working 4 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for Year 3/4 pupils.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with other staff to support the school's curriculum goals.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience: Prior experience teaching at Key Stage 2 is preferred. Both ECTs and experienced teacher are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Attributes: Adaptable, team-oriented, and committed to student development.
