Job Vacancy: Level 3 Early Years PractitionerLocation: Private Day Nursery, Gildersome, LeedsRoom: 2-3 Year Olds
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our warm and welcoming team at our private day nursery based in Gildersome, Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to work with a lovely group of children in our 2-3 year olds room, where you will play a key role in shaping their early learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Key Worker Role: You will be responsible for a group of key children, building strong relationships and supporting their development through tailored activities and care.
- Planning & Observations: Carry out regular observations and assessments of your key children, ensuring their learning needs are met through exciting and engaging activities.
- Activity Planning: Develop and set up fun, interactive, and knowledge-rich activities that support the children's individual learning journeys in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Creating a Nurturing Environment: Be a supportive and caring presence for your children, fostering a sense of security and family within the setting.
- Parent Engagement: Build positive relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on children's progress and development.
What We're Looking For:
- A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent).
- Experience working with children in an Early Years setting, particularly children aged 2-3 years old.
- A kind, caring, and compassionate nature with a strong ability to build relationships and provide a sense of 'home' and 'family' for children.
- A proactive approach to planning, delivering, and assessing early years education.
- A commitment to creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
