We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Site Supervisor to join our team and ensure our school's facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
Job Description
As the Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and overseeing the school premises. This includes general maintenance, safety checks, site security, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance of the school premises, including repairs and minor refurbishments.
- Perform regular health and safety checks to ensure a safe environment.
- Manage security for the site, including opening and closing the school and monitoring access points.
- Supervise and coordinate cleaning staff to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
- Maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies.
- Liaise with external contractors and service providers as necessary.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and issues as they arise.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in a school or public building.
- Strong practical skills in areas such as basic plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to a school environment.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- A proactive and positive attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
