Psychology Teacher - Maternity Cover, January Start - Watford
We are recruiting on behalf of an established secondary school in Watford for a skilled Psychology Teacher to join their team on a maternity cover basis, starting in January. This role offers an excellent opportunity to inspire students and foster a deep understanding of psychology in an engaging, supportive environment.
Role Details:
- Teach Psychology to KS5 students, delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge learners
- Plan and implement effective teaching strategies that meet curriculum standards and support student achievement
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and additional support as needed
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Psychology at the secondary level, ideally to KS5
- Strong knowledge of the UK Psychology curriculum and a passion for the subject
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire students, helping them achieve their full potential
