Are you a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist looking to make a difference in the lives of children? Veritas are seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our client, supporting students in either their primary or secondary Special Educational Needs (SEN) school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students' sensory, motor, and functional skills to develop personalized intervention plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapeutic strategies into daily classroom activities.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, focusing on enhancing their independence and participation in school life.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for staff and parents on best practices for supporting students' needs.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with [Relevant Professional Body].
- Experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly in an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of developmental and sensory processing issues.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
