Location: Accrington Start Date: January 2024 Contract: Temporary until the end of the academic year, with potential for permanent position
Salary: Main/Upper pay scale - dependent on experience
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join our vibrant school community in Accrington. This role has become available following the resignation of a valued member of our teaching staff and will last until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of a permanent contract for the right candidate.
About The School: The school have a high number of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), we strive to ensure that every child receives the support they need to thrive. We pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative and supportive atmosphere for both staff and students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Provide tailored support for children with additional needs, ensuring they have equal access to learning.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies to create a positive classroom environment.
- Work closely with parents, support staff, and external agencies to meet the diverse needs of all students.
- Foster a love of learning and encourage curiosity and creativity among pupils.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in Key Stage 2.
- Strong background in supporting children with SEN and a deep understanding of various learning difficulties.
- Excellent behaviour management skills and the ability to create an inclusive classroom.
- A collaborative team player who is committed to professional development and lifelong learning.
- Passionate about making a positive impact on children's education and well-being.
